We are excited to announce that Paul Louden will be a special guest speaker at the upcoming parent training in Bali on February 24-27, 2014.

Paul was diagnosed with Asperger’s at the age of 23 and has been speaking about his views and life experiences as co-host of the Understanding Autism radio show and at conferences since late 2010. His young life was spent visiting and living in many different countries, which has given him the opportunity to see a variety of cultures and helps him to think about and speak about his condition from a unique perspective. Paul will speak about how he and his family embraced the RDI Lifestyle and how it has impacted all of their lives over the past eight years.

This 4-day parent training training will be held at the world renowned Hotel Pullman Bali Legian Nirwana, a beachfront  resort providing the ideal environment for this focused training program. With Balinese hospitality, beautiful and relaxing atmosphere, the hotel features the latest technology in fully-equipped meeting rooms. Minutes from the airport and oceanfront on Kuta Beach, the hotel  is within walking distance of the city and all its amenities.  The hotel is also a family friendly facility with child care center on the premise and a large children's pool.

About the Presenters

Maisie is very passionate about providing practical, hands-on training for parents at home and eight years ago, she developed an intensive week-long RDI immersion program. She believes that an RDI lifestyle can make a difference in achieving long term quality of life, not only for ASD individuals but also for entire families.

Pete has been working with teens with learning challenges and he especially enjoys working with fathers of special needs children. His mission is to inspire fathers to get involved even when they only have weekends to spend with their children. Pete will be hosting a father's roundtable breakout session at this upcoming Bali Parent Training to lead a discussion on how to leverage the limited time they do have with their children, as well as brainstorming daily opportunities for productive engagement.
